These Terms & Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights. We may change these terms and conditions at any time and you will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions each time you place an order. Our Contract

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the moment you submit your order by clicking the “Place your order” button. After submitting an order to us we will give you an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered. Please note that this information is an acknowledgement, not acceptance of your order.

Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when you receive an email to confirm payment has been received. We may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will contact you as soon as we can to let you know. When deciding whether or not to accept your order, we, or our payment processing partner, may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference and fraud detection agencies. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions. We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.

Prices and Payment

All prices and charges on this site are shown in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges (for details see ‘Delivery’ below). The total cost of your order is the price of the products you order plus the applicable delivery charge. All costs and discounts will be set out clearly before you submit your order.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If something becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative item. We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate, however, occasionally errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it. We accept payment by the cards listed below and on the payment page. Payment is deducted when we process your order.

Shipping

Your purchase is shipped either by UPS, Royal Mail or another Courier Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) and within two working days if your order is placed before 12pm (subject to stock availability). Orders should be with you 2-4 days following receipt of order when the order has been placed on a weekday. If we cannot ship right away we will let you know. Working days are Monday to Friday only; we do not deliver or process orders on weekends or on bank holidays.Your final delivery charge will be shown at the checkout. Please allow for short delays by the courier during busy times.

Please remember that deliveries may need to be signed for. It is your responsibility to ensure you are home or able to collect the item if the courier was unable to find you at home. We will happily send your purchase to a work place or neighbour.

If you are not at home and delivery was not possible, we reserve the right to apply further delivery charges should you require us to re-send your item. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
We will deliver to the following postcodes FREE OF CHARGE providing the order is over £50, HG1, HG2, HG3 2, HG3 3, other postcodes will be shipped by courier and charged as below. Free Local deliveries will generally be on our own vehicles, Monday – Friday, we normally try to deliver within 3 working days. If products are out of stock we will let you know ASAP, and offer alternatives or inform when the required product will be back in stock.

Our drivers don’t accept payment, all items MUST be paid for at the time of ordering, either through the website or over the telephone. We don’t store any payment details.

We accept PayPal and all major cards except American Express.

Standard delivery will be charged at the following rates:
0-20kg      £6.99
20-40kg    £11.99
40-60kg    £19.99
Orders over 60kg, please email for a quote.

Express delivery is available for a £6.00 surcharge. (for next day Express delivery order must be with us before 12pm. Express delivery orders submitted to us after 12pm Thursday will not be delivered until the following Monday) For example place your order after 12pm on a Friday and your order will be processed by us on the following Monday. Delivery days exclude weekends and bank holidays.

Some UK postcodes are more expensive to ship to. We try to keep shipping costs down where possible. If in doubt please contact us and we can check. Postodes with shipping surcharge include: HS1-9, IV1-36, IV40-49, IV51 – 56, KA27-28, KW1-3 & 5-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE1-3, BT1-99, IM1-9 & 99, TR21-25, PO30-41, Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey), Isle of Wight.

Availability

Most items are available direct from stock but occasionally we run out of some lines if demand is high or if supply is limited.  If there is likely to be a delay in dispatching your order we will contact you to discuss. Please call us to check the availability and delivery schedule if you are unsure.

Surcharges

Due to the gross weight, size and/or shape of certain products listed, we reserve the right to add a shipping and handling fee to your order’s total. This is in line with the additional costs incurred by our chosen couriers’ service.

Orders qualifying for free delivery will be liable to incur such additional fees at our discretion.

Returns & Refunds

We hope you will be happy with your Harpers of Harrogate purchase; however, we will be happy to refund a product should you wish to return it.

Aside from faulty, damaged under warranty & incorrectly shipped goods, we can only accept returns of unused and re-sellable items.  If you have ordered a pet bed or basket, Dog Coat or Harness/Collar that has been used by your pet then we cannot accept a return.  This policy must be strictly enforced for hygiene reasons.

If we deliver the incorrect product or your purchase arrives damaged or becomes faulty within 12 months of purchase, you can return this to us, at no cost to you, and we will replace or refund the item.

Please ensure you have selected your product carefully and it is as you require before purchase including size, colour and description. All postage costs to return a product that has been incorrectly ordered are at the expense of the consumer. Products maliciously damaged will not be refunded.

Accepting your Harpers of Harrogate Delivery

Please always try to check your delivery upon receipt. If you are signing for goods that are damaged, please mark the delivery note as “damaged”. If you are unable to check the item at the time of delivery, please mark the delivery note as “unchecked”. Please retain the original packaging in case you need to return your purchase.

Faulty Goods or Damaged on Delivery

In the unlikely event your product is faulty or received damaged, please contact us by email:  info@pharmall.co.uk immediately with your order number, which can be found on the invoice or in the confirmation email we sent at the time of purchase. Please include details of the problem and return the item using the cheapest method available with sufficient insurance cover, we will re-imburse this cost to you when we receive the original receipt or a scanned copy. Whilst the products are in your possession it is your responsibility to ensure they are kept safe. On receipt of the returned goods, Pharmall Ltd will arrange to replace or refund your product as you prefer. Alternatively, please take your purchase into our Harrogate Store, along with the original invoice, where the product can be exchanged or refunded.

Shortages

It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of parcels as shown on the carrier’s consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and notified to us by the purchaser within 3 days of delivery by emailing: info@pharmall.co.uk

Incorrect Goods

It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 14 days of delivery by emailing us: info@pharmall.co.uk

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order and your item has already been dispatched, please ensure that you return your purchase to us in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt in order to obtain a refund excluding postage costs. All shipping costs to return a cancelled order are at the cost of the consumer. Alternatively, please take your order into our Harrogate store with the original invoice where we will be happy to exchange or refund your item.

We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions. Your data protection rights are set out in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. These terms and conditions only cover the Harpers of Harrogate website. Any other websites to which you link from this site, or were linked to harpersofharrogate.co.uk, are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
